The San Francisco Chronicle has a great article out today (see here), on the youth issue in Saudi Arabia. It addresses the youth unemployment problem and the expenditure the government has planned in an effort to improve the job situation for youth. Part of the issue is the number of foreign workers in Saudi Arabia, and despite numerous policies favouring Saudis compared to foreign workers, Saudis do not comprise the majority of workers in Saudi Arabia.
This article addresses some of the potential that Saudi Arabia offers as well as many of the risks. It is a great segue into Investment Frontier’s introduction to Saudi markets
